Boho-Chic Nashville Fashion

Boho-Chic Nashville Fashion

Earlier this year, my husband and I took a wonderful vacation to Nashville…it was such a fun city, but also so inspiring when it comes to art, music, and of course, fashion.  I couldn’t get enough of it, and before we left, I was already planning my return trip!  While initally planning the trip, I stumbled upon two things…this adorable and super trendy B&B called the Urban Cowboy, and that our trip was the week before Nashville Fashion Week.  With my background in fashion design, I was disappointed that we weren’t able to catch any shows on this trip, but nonetheless, we had a great, relaxing vacation!

So, I woke up this morning thinking about the Urban Cowboy B&B (for whatever reason my brain works in weird ways), and how amazing each suite was designed.  I absolutely love the style and it makes me think of fall with the warm and rustic color palette.  Unfortunately on our trip, they were all booked, so we weren’t able to stay there, but it hasn’t stopped my brain from daydreaming about it.  I was thinking of how awesome it would be to do a fashion photo shoot at their B&B with some of the amazing bohemian style fall dresses I have been seeing lately.  Anthroloplogie (one of my favorite stores!) and Free People were the first places that came to mind when I think of the style of Urban Cowboy B&B.  I immediately started putting together dresses with each of the suites and dreaming of a few gorgeous accessories (what is more boho-chic than an embroidered or beaded cross-body?!).

Here are the looks paired to each of the different suites (starting at the top left to right):

The Lion’s Den Suite (top) is paired with a Dotted and Ruffled Wrap Maxi Dress from Anthropologie.  The small scale prints and ruffles, make this dress both fun to wear and flattering.  Not to mention it could be paired with tall or short boots, mules, heels, sandals or slides…talk about versatile!

The Midnight Rider suite has this subtle and gorgeous hint of glam in the furry bedding, Victorian style tub, and hints of black and white patterns, so I thought this velvet open shoulder dress in a goldenrod yellow has just the right amount of glam to complement this room.  Style this photo shoot with a glass of wine or an Old Fashioned and I think we’d all sign up to be models! Right?!

I LOVE The Victorian Suite…it has the most peaceful and calming color palette and oh my, look at that chandelier!!  I thought a sweet flowing blush dress such as this Lucky Charm Dress with delicately dotted sheer fabric and intricate lace from Free People was perfect.

The Captain Suite, (named quite appropriately) is full of glamour and class with the furry bedding and gold claw-foot tub, so I thought this classy and form fitting column dress was a great pair.  This nobility dress has so many gorgeous subtle details.  The embroidery and embellishments are stunning with light blue accents on this shimmering bronze metallic dress.

The Watchtower Suite with its eclectic wall paper, blue dresser, and worn leather sofa are a perfect background to the Natalia embroidered dress.  Its romantic silhouette, warm colors and boho style embroidered pattern are a perfect combo for exploring East Nashville and the country music scene.

The Lion’s Den Suite (version 2) is paired with another ruffled shoulder dress, but this time it is a Tracy Reese creation.  Tracy Reese is well known for her stunning, eye catching prints and patterns, and this fluttered and floral dress is no exception!

The Muse Suite has a black and white color scheme and an overall very classy vibe.  This Jaclyn off-the-shoulder dress has all the vintage Southern charm and is a tribute to the popular off-the-shoulder styles we’ve seen this past summer!

The Cabin Suite is the perfect place for the aspiring or accomplished musician to kick-back and relax or warm up before a Nashville performance.  This stunning Temecula dress is something from the stage at the Grand Ole Opry or Ryman Auditorium.  It is beautiful, seductive and very romantic with its black shimmering lace overlay.

The Rose Room features a gorgeous fire place as the focal point and touches of Victorian style, which complements this stunning black dress with structured lines and a classic silhouette. This Naomi mini dress is the perfect choice for a night out on the town.

The main post image is from the Lobby of the Urban Cowboy Nashville and this accent fireplace is the perfect spot to showcase this Tracy Reese Geo-print dress. This dress features a bold geometric design and a southwest inspired color palette. What’s not to love?!

I couldn’t think of a more perfect set to do a boho photo shoot than this ultra cute BhB, and I hope you enjoy these styles. {I am not compensated for any of these products…just sharing some fashion with all of you!}  Until next time, enjoy those beautiful fall leaves and a tasty pumpkin-spice-latte!!
